There are several herds of muskox back in town.
Two of them are hanging out near the road we go back and forth to town on.
They are interesting to watch but are best viewed from a distance.
This herd has two little ones along with the adults.
Their underfur, the qiviut, is incredible soft and fragile.
They will soon be loosing it in the low willows and shrubs.
Knitters collect it, spin it and create beautiful warm accessories from it.
I have seen this view from my kids when I tried to take too many pictures of them also.....
