Powdered-Sugar Morning~

Today we woke up to a white powdered-sugar
coating to our world.
This is what it looked like when we went to open
the Rec Center at 5 AM.

About six hours later, the sun was adding color to the day.
As I neared home, it kept getting brighter.

This bird often perches on the east side of Newton,
near the Ditch Rider's Cabin.

As the sunrise crept across the sky
it highlighted Army Peak
and Goose Poop Island.

The Gravel Pond's glassiness made a wonderful mirror.

The channel from the pond to the river looks almost solid.

But this flower was still proudly showing its colors.....
