Red, White and Blue Blog Hop~

Today is the day..

Dexter Days is one of six who get to showcase their blocks!

The directions for the Blog Hop were pretty simple..

~Blocks must be 10.5" or 12.5"
~In a combination of red, white and blue
~ Posts must include a picture of your block...all else was optional!

I chose a block full of pinwheels because
who doesn't think Pinwheels and the Fourth of July go together?!

I was even able to use fabrics from my stash to create this 12.5" version.
If you would like to create your own, please click on the Tutorial Tab above.

Because I knew I wanted a completed project,
I used my block to create this bag which is also included on the Tutorial Page.

I hope you had a wonderful time
Celebrating the 4th of July!!

Please check out these other great sites for more ideas and blocks to make!

Many thanks go to

I hope you enjoy hopping through them all.....

It may have something to do with the link. It looks a bit strange.

  50. Your block is great and your bag turned out awesome! I really like the blue and white fabric you used for the background. A great thing about doing hops is I always find new blogs to follow. I was so happy to see you're in Alaska! I grew up there! I lived in Sutton and went to school in Palmer. My best friend since 4th grade still lives in Palmer. I met my husband in Alaska but he says no way on moving back. hehe. I'd love to move back though. Can't wait to come back to your blog and read all I've been missing.
