May We Always Remember~

September 11th
Eleven years ago..

Do you remember what you were doing?
How did you find out about the planes,
the buildings,
the fields,
and the people--

We were all touched by the dreadful chain of events.

May we always remember that
in America
there is more that joins us together,
than separates us.....

  1. I remember, I was at work downtown D.C. at the Ronald Regan Building, and saw the first plan hit the towers in NY and after the plan hit the Pentagon, we were all running out of the building trying to get home. It is a day to remember.

  2. Hi Sharon I was at home with my Youngest and he was watching a cartoon on the TV when he complained that he couldn't see it. I looked and saw the breaking news. It was 2.00pm here and I turned over to the BBC and just sat hugging him watching in horror. I also saw the second plane hit, it was awful, you felt so helpless. By the time I had gone to collect my Eldest from Primary School the Towers had come down. We just spent the evening watching the news over and over. It is a day to remember those who lost their lives but a day I would also like to forget as well. Susie x

  3. I remember where I was and what I was doing and I will never forget, I don't think anyone will. Your last sentence is so fitting and we all need to remember that as well.

It is so nice to hear from you!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a note!
I will respond to you directly by email,
