Stitch Me Up Day Seven~

Today is my day!

Good Morning,
I hope your day is off to a pieceful start!

When I received all of the brightly colored Finca threads from Jane,
I immediately thought of spring flowers!

I wanted to try many of the wonderful patterns, but in the end I opted for
Cindi's pattern on a project that I knew

1) I could finish in time,
2) I had supplies for, and
3) was something I needed.

It is a carrying case for my tools when I go to class.

bag

Inside are pockets and a divider made with soft Dr. Seuss flannel
to keep things in place and protected as I haul them about.

flowers, stitching, bag

It has handles long enough to put over my shoulder when
my hands are full with other things,
and another big pocket on the outside for more "essentials",

bag, daffodils, quilt, Mama Said Sew

because you never know what you might need.....

It has been fun to see all of the great ideas everyone has come up with,
and the bEaUtiFul stitching!
I had forgotten how much I enjoyed embroidery and found the
Presencia Finca Pearl Cotton wonderful to work with!

Thanks to Jane, Madame Samm, Debbie and Cindi for pulling everything together for us,
and Colonial Needle for sponsoring this hop.

I hope you hop to the other stops today and check out their work too!
