A Beautiful Evening~

Our amazing summer has continued into August.

Have you heard of the term "Native Time"?
Each time is specific to the local area,
and those in the know schedule their activities in rhythm with
the weather, daylight, night-time, etc.

This summer a day on our Native Time would be
sleeping late in the morning, when the day is foggy and often moist with rain.

Then inside chores/work would be done during in the early afternoon, so that the
wonderful evenings we have been having,
could be enjoyed!

The plants are loving it!

The Pilot Man has been mowing and mowing..

It has been perfect for evening runs, and soaks in the pond..

It is so hard to end the evening by going inside.

But not everyone gets to sleep in, so we have to say Good-night.....

  1. I have never heard of "Native Time", but it makes a lot of sense to enjoy the best part of the day. Are your days still long at this time of the summer? Beautiful images, thanks for sharing them with all of us.

  2. It would be wonderful if we could all sync our bodies to run on Nature's Time!
