The craziness continues.
Although, I prefer our crazy to the ice and snow others have been getting in the Lower 48!
At least we have the gear for that kind of stuff.

Nome hit a record high of +54' F.
It felt lovely, and light without so many warm layers.
Snow was melting in the streets and draining anywhere it could.
Open leads opened up as the sea ice broke apart and moved away from shore.
On this day in 1989 Nome's record low was -54'.
Given a choice, I would rather redo the topside!
Twenty-five years, one hundred degrees..
And some people say things never change.....
